Hand #54: Danny Shiff Doubles Thru and Cripples Hayden Fortini

Shiff quickly calls all in for 980,000 with [Qs9h] for a pair of nines, and Fortini turns over 5-4 for two pair, fives and fours. Shiff will need to improve to stay alive.

The turn is the [10s], the river is the [10d], and the board counterfeits Fortini’s two pair, giving Shiff the victory with two pair, tens and nines, to double up in chips.
