Efim Rudnik is like the proverbial house on fire right now. He’s munching on the heels of Marvin Rettenmaier after eliminating the richest man in Hungary – Sandor Demjan.
Rudnik opens for 3,100, Demjan moves all-in for 18,000 and Rudnik calls. It’s ace-seven for Demjan, but Rudnik has him dominated with ace-ten. Sure enough the five community cards steer Demjan out of the competition and Rudnik is the unlikeliest of heroes with 100,000.
