Timothy Rutherford Eliminated by Baron Ha in 31st Place

Timothy Rutherford raises to 360,000 under the gun, leaving just one chip behind, as both William Blais in the cutoff and big blind Baron Ha call.

All three players check the flop. The turn is the and Ha bets 40,000. Rutherford immediately tosses in his remaining seven time banks to put four minutes on his clock.

While Rutherford is tanking, the table is still talking about Senthuran Vijayaratnam’s hero-call against him earlier. “That was a great call,” Robin Wezelenburg tells him.

“What time is it? It’s game time. I’m glad you enjoyed it,” Vijayaratnam says.

Rutherford ends up using all of his clock before tossing in his last chip. Blais also calls to see the river. Ha checks to Blais who bets 140,000, and Ha tanks for a moment before he calls.

Blais shows and Ha turns over for a pair of jacks. “You almost had it,” a tablemate tells Rutherford as he shows . Eun Park and Nikolas Psarris were also eliminated at other tables during this hand, so Rutherford managed to make the pay jump and finish in 31st place.
