The third and final starting flight for the WPT Playground Championship attracted 434 entrants, bringing the total field size to 806 so far. That number will continue to grow as late registration is available until the start of Day 2.
Jackson Oniske leads the 168 Day 1C survivors after bagging 379,000. He is most closely followed by Gianluca Cedolia who ended with 326,000 while Brady Spencer rounds out the top three with 325,000.
Defending champion David Dongwoo Ko also advanced in today’s starting flight, finishing with 97,000 at the end of the night.
Day 2 begins tomorrow, October 27 at 11:00 a.m. local time. The action picks up on Level 11, featuring blinds at 1,500/2,500 and a 2,500 big blind ante. The plan is to play ten hour-long levels at which point the remaining players will bag their chips and advance to Day 3.
