Nov 18, 2024

Joe Jordan raises from the cutoff to 40,000, Ray Leone raises from the button to 80,000, and Jordan says, “That’s reasonable,” as he calls.

The flop comes Heart QHeart 6Spade 5, Jordan checks, Leone bets 80,000, and Jordan calls.

The turn card pairs the board with the Diamond 6, Jordan checks, Leone bets 110,000, and Jordan calls.

The river card is the Heart 2, Jordan moves all in, and Leone quickly folds. Jordan says, “I had something” as he takes the pot.

Tony Dunst says, “I kind of had everything there. That was painful to watch.” Dunst was in the big blind with about 250,000 in chips (13 big blinds), and says he would have called if Leone hadn’t three-bet it preflop.

Jordan looks at Dunst and says, “Sounds like I would have doubled you up.”
