Thibaud Towards The Top

Thibaud Guenegou
Thibaud Guenegou had a fantastic WPT Amneville finishing in 3rd place and he has started in the same fashion here in Prague. He has over 100,000 chips despite losing the following pot.

We join the action on a flop of [Ah] [Js] [Th] and it is a family pot. Thibaud Guenegou is seated in the big blind and he bets 2,000 when checked to. The action folds around to a player seated in middle position and he calls before the button squeezes for 6,500. Guenegou calls the three-bet but then the player in middle position moves all-in for 20,000 more. The squeezer folds and Guenegou makes the call.

Middle Position Player: [Ks] [Qd]
Guenegou: [Tc] [Td]

So Guenegou wanted the board to pair but it just didn’t happen. The turn [Kh] and river [7h] losing Guenegou the pot and he moves down to 100,000 chips.
