Marvin Rettenmaier has just proved that he has some mettle after eliminating two players just a few hands after being taught a lesson by Andrea Benelli.
Johan Guilbert raises to 11,000 in late position and Rettenmaier cold calls. Heinz Kamutzki moves all-in for 73,000 and Rocco Palumbo re-shoves for 190,000 in the small blind. Guilbert folds and Rettenmaier snap-calls.
Rettenmaier: [Qh][Qd]
Palumbo: [Td][Th]
Kamutzki: [8c][8h]
The [Ks][Kh][Jd] flop causes Guilbert to say "this is sick" and he claims to have folded [Kx][Jx]. The turn is the [Kd] which locks up the hand for Rettenmaier and when the [6h] lands on the river two players are eliminated and Rettenmaier sees his stack swell to 705,000!
