The river is the [Qs] and Ladny checks again.  Cimpan quickly checks behind and mucks when Ladny shows [Qd9d] for trip nines.

Cimpan won this event in Season VIII, picking up over $900,000.  He is one of four past Foxwoods World Poker Classic winners current;y in the field.  Season II winner Hoyt Corkins, Season VII winner Jonathan Little, and Season IX winner Jeff Forrest are playing as well.  Erik Seidel is playing as well.  He earned his WPT title at Foxwoods, but won the spring Foxwoods Poker Classic, not the fall event.
