William Leppert More Than Quadruples Up

Apr 30, 2012

Tony Parille raises to 8,000 from the cutoff, Robert LeBeau calls on the button, and William Leppert moves all-in for his last 10,500 from the small blind. Blake Purvis is in the big blind and calls, as does Parille and LeBeau.

Purvis checks in the dark before the dealer spreads the [Ks8s7s] flop. Parille checks as well, then LeBeau bets 20,000. Purvis and Parille both fold.

LeBeau turns over [KcQd] for top pair, but he is in bad shape against William Leppert’s [8c8h] for a set of eighs. The turn brings the [Ac] and the river the [Jc] and Leppert takes the pot to more than quadruple up.

William Leppert – 43,000 (11 BBs)
