So far it has been a good afternon for Blair Hinkle, but it has not been so good to his female tablemates, Annette Obrestad and Lauren Kling. Obrestad is down to 95,000 chips after apparently doubling Hinkle up and he and Kling keep sparring in pots.
Hinkle raises to 2,500 and Kling reraises to 6,600 behind him. It folds back around to Hinkle and he calls. The flop comes down [Ad8h7d] and Hinkle checks. Kling bets 6,600 and Hinkle calls. The turn is the [8d] and both players check. The river is the [8s] and Hinkle bets 12,500.
Kling thinks for a minute or two, then tells Hinkle, "I feel like you have me, but I want to see it." She calls and Hinkle shows [AsJd] for eights full of aces. Kling mucks, and Hinkle takes the pot.
Hinkle is now vying for the chip lead with 295,000.
Blair Hinkle – 295,000
Lauren Kling – 95,000
