The payouts for the event are scrolling across the tournament clock and there is an error in the payouts that has Doyle Brunson’s table talking.
"Eighty-fifth place pays $12," Nick Phillips tells the table. The group then watches as the payouts scroll by and, indeed, 85th is listed as meriting a $12 payday.
"I don’t even know if I would wait in line for the payout," Jonathan Van Fleet admits.
"That’s just disrespectful," Phillips says.
The players were also confused because it listed just 85 places paying. For the record, this tournament will pay out 100 spots as planned. We will have the complete payouts for the event available shortly.
