The first-ever WPT Player of the Year, Howard Lederer helped kick the tour off with a bang by winning two titles during its premiere season. Lederer’s two WPT titles include a win at the Foxwoods World Poker finals and the PartyPoker Million. In addition to his WPT accomplishments, Lederer also has two WSOP bracelets, a WSOP Main Event final table appearance, and over $6.4 million in lifetime tournament earnings.
Lederer’s accomplishments off the felt are possibily even more vast than his accomplishments on the felt. Along with his wife, Suzie, Lederer hosts a number of charitable events, including the popular World Series of BBQ benefiting the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. Lederer is also a co-founder of Team Full Tilt, the marquee pros promoting Full Tilt Poker, and the CEO of poker software firm Pocket Kings. Lederer is currently on the cover of BLUFF Magazine after being named poker’s most powerful individual in the publication’s annual Power 20 rankings.
