The very next hand after losing his stack to Erik Seidel and Joe Sebok, Smith is all-in again, this time against Sebok and Maria Ho.
Ho turns over a single card, the [Ad], and jokes, "Come on, it is the best hand. I don’t even need to show the other card."
Ho appears to be misinformed though, as Smith matches her by turning over the [Ah]. Sebok can only muster the [Qs]. After a few seconds, Ho reveals her other card, the [Jc] and Smith triumphantly turns over a jack of his own, the [Jh]. Sebok, meanwhile, is content to just show the queen.
The flop comes down [Kh6s3s] and Ho is immediately concerned that Sebok has the best of it.
"You have top pair and a flush draw, don’t you? You have [Ks][Qs]." Sebok remains silent as the [6h] on the turn gives Smith a flush draw.
Smith loudly cheers for a heart and is rewarded with the [10h] on the river, giving him the nut flush and the double up. Sebok mucks his [Qs9d] face up and both Ho and Sebok pull out some money to rebuy.
