A Chip Off The Old Romanello Block

Mar 11, 2014

Did you ever wonder where Roberto Romanello got his talent from?

His father of course, and the man himself is in the midst of the action as this following hand shows.

We join the action on a flop of [7c] [7s] [4h] and the action checks to Francesco Romanello who bets 825 from under the gun. A player in mid-position folds and Adrian Apmann makes the call from the big blind.

Both players check when the third seven appears on the turn [7h] and the final card the pair see is the [Kh]. Apmann places a bet of 700 across the line, Romanello raises to 1,500 and Apmann makes the call.

Romanello shows [As] [Ks] and Apmann folds.
