A Horrible 45 Minutes: Chuck Nguyen Eliminated in 27th Place by David Valdez

This was one of the worst runs we’ve seen in recent WPT history, as 45 minutes earlier, Nguyen was the chipleader with about 1.4 million in chips (117 big blinds). But those 45 minutes were brutal to Nguyen, and now he’s out of the tournament.

* Because Chuck Nguyen and WPT Champions Club member Kevin Eyster busted simultaneously at different tables, they chopped the combined prize money for 27th and 28th places.
