Paying homage to Texas poker, Houston native Will Leffingwell has convinced the table to one round of ‘non-live straddles’ (blind raises), making the hands quite eventful…
After a ‘straddle’ to 1,200 by Yann Perrin, Sihao Zhang raises to 2,400 and only Perrin calls to see a flop of .
Perrin checks, Zhang bets 2,500, and Perrin calls to go to the turn .
“Forty-two,” Zhang announces after a check from Perrin and tosses out a blue 5k chip.
“Call,” Perrin announces, but then proceeds to set out 45,000, as if he was calling a bet of 42,000. After it’s confirmed he announces just a call, the pot is corrected and the players go to the river.
Perrin then leads for 14,000 which causes Zhang to do some head-scratching before he ultimately decides to let it go.
Yann Perrin – 143,000
Sihao Zhang – 88,000
