Achiles Voltolina is the dark horse in this competition. To look at him you would think the man was a rock. That getting out of line really isn’t his thing. But he also looks assured. Like he eats buy-ins like this for breakfast. When you add fearlessness with an ability to hit the board hard, you have a problem. Voltolina is going to be a problem.
Clement Beauvois opens to 7,000 in early position, Voltolina three-bets to 22,500 from the hijack, Beauvois four-bets to 60,000 and Voltolina calls.
Flop: [7d] [5d] [2s]
Beauvois checks, Voltolina bets 60,000 and after some dwell time Beauvois folds.
"Mama Mia!" Shouts Voltolina before showing ace-king.
Voltolina ~ 340,000
Beauvois ~ 380,000
