A total of 1,155 entry slips were sold for Day 1B of the $3,500 WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Championship but only around 400 players survived.
Leading the Day 1B field is Akash Seth with an impressive stack of 730,500. He is followed by Luke Brereton with 628,500. Other top stacks include Joel Weisberger (600,500), John Miller (540,000) and Nick Palma (456,000). Loni Hui (348,500) and Natasha Mercier (244,000) also bagged healthy stacks for Day 2.
All in all, the two flights combined attracted a total of 2,290, easily beating last year’s field of 2,010.
Day 1B’s survivors will combine with the survivors of Day 1A for Day 2 tomorrow, on Sunday, April 30th at 12 PM EST and the field is scheduled to play ten levels of 60 minutes. Action will resume at Level 11 with blinds of 1,500/2,500 with a 2,500 big blind ante.
