Alex Gomes Eliminated

Reigning Bellagio Cup champion Alex Gomes has been eliminated.  He was one of the number of players still in the running for WPT Player of the Year, thanks to his win last summer here in Las Vegas, where he defeated current Player of the Year frontrunner Faraz Jaka heads-up for the title.
