Allen Kessler Doesn't Have a Wikipedia Page

An interesting discussion broke out at Table 11 about the online Encyclopedia. Somebody pointed out that there were several players seated in a row who had risen to the level of fame necessary for a Wikipedia page — Abe Mosseri (seat 7), James Dempsey (seat 8), and Chino Rheem (seat 9).

Someone asked Allen Kessler (seat 6) if he had a Wikipedia page. Kessler confidently said he did not, and Mosseri joked that Kessler probably checks daily to find out if he has one yet.

(Dempsey was eliminated soon after this discussion started, which is why he isn’t pictured above.)

Rheem was shocked that Allen "Chainsaw" Kessler didn’t have a Wikipedia page, and pulled out his smartphone to check. Kessler pointed out that if you search for his name on Wikipedia, there will be a few results linking to other pages that he is mentioned on, but he has no page of his own. Rheem said that somebody needs to make an Allen Kessler page on Wikipedia.

Meanwhile, Kessler was looking up Mosseri’s Wikipedia page (link), and learned several things about Mosseri he didn’t know.

Mosseri was eliminated a little while later, and though Kessler doesn’t have a Wikipedia page (yet), at least he is still in the tournament.
