An American in Paris...er... Cyprus

They’re usually few and far between at most of the European or Asian WPT Prime festivals, but a few American tournament pros always find their way to an event, usually tagged onto a vacation.

Day 1A saw former Heartland Poker Tour champ Rob Perelman advance to Day 2, and on Day 1B it’s Texas tourney grinder Jared Hemingway making some noise in the field.

He and his wife came across the pond for a Mediterranean vacation and saw the WPT Prime stop coincided with their trip, so they decided to squeeze some poker into their plans.

Hemingway came back from dinner just outside the top 10 chip stacks and has since chipped up a bit to further move his stack into contention with registration now closed on Day 1B.
