There are many ways to exit a World Poker Tour (WPT) event, but this is certainly an unusual one.
Antonio Alfaia limps into the pot from first position and when it folds around to Anaras Alekberovas in the small blind he raises to 100,000 off a stack of 160,000. Alfaia makes the call and you somewhat expect Alerkberovas isn’t folding at any point in this hand.
Flop: [Ad] [Qs] [2d]
Alekberovas does move all-in for 60,000 and Alfaia calls.
Showdown
Alfaia: [Qc] [Js]
Alekberovas: [Kh] [8c]
Alfaia needing to dodge that man with the crown.
The turn [Jc], and river [6h], completes the action and Alekberovas kind of limps out of this tournament.
