Andrew Brinkley vs. Brian Altman

Andrew Brinkley (pictured above) opens to 6,500 in the lojack and action folds to WPT Champions Club member Brian Altman (pictured below), who defends his big blind.

The flop drops and Altman checks to Brinkley, who continuation-bets 7,000. Altman thinks for a few moments and then check-raises to 18,500. Brinkley slides in a three-bet to 51,000, more than one-third of Altman’s remaining stack. Altman thinks for a bit more and then folds.

As the pot is sent to Brinkley, he asks if Altman would like to see his holdings.

“Sure,” replies Altman, and Brinkley tables . The dealer announces his pair of fours and scoops the two cards up with the rest of the deck, and Altman thanks Brinkley for showing.
