The board reads , and after Jeremy Menard leads from the big blind for 11,000, Cherish Andrews waits a while and then calls, bringing the pot up around 45,000.
The river is the , putting a second pair on the board, and Menard checks. Andrews again pauses just a beat, then bets 35,000. Menard shows some consternation as he considers what to do, then finally lets his hand go.
“I told you… she always bluffs,” says a player from across the table, and Andrews grins.
“I do not!” she answers. Whether or not that was a bluff, no one knows, either.
Andrews has about 160,000 now, while Menard has 18,000.
