With around 35,000 already in the pot and the board reading [10s8s3s], Andy Powderly checks from the big blind and Bernard Lee bets 11,000 from middle position. Steven Brackesy is in the cutoff and folds.
Powderly thinks a bit, then moves all-in for 47,500 total. Lee lets out a big sigh and asks for a count. After confirming the amount, Lee talks to himself about the hand.
"Is that a spade draw? Is that all that is?"
Lee ponders another couple of minutes before he eventually folds. He asks the table, "Would you call with ace-eight?’
Powderly asks, "Did you have ace eight?" Lee nods. "I had a ten," Powderly tells him.
"If I had a spade in my hand, I would have called you right away," Lee replies.
Andy Powderly – 95,000 (32 BBs)
Bernard Lee – 119,000 (40 BBs)
