Michael Singh limps the button, and Olivier Busquet and Antonio Esfandiari take a cheap flop from their respecitve small and big blinds.
It comes 556, and action checks to Singh who bets 2,000. Busquet check-raises to 6,500, Esfandiari overcalls, and Singh folds out of the way.
The turn is the 4, and Busquet fires back out with a bet of 13,500. Esfandiari calls to see the river card.
It’s the 8, and it will be the last card of Esfandiari’s day. He has about 45,000 chips left in front of him when Busquet makes the covering river bet. Esfandiari calls with king-seven, but his straight is no good. Busquet shows down five-four, and his full house marks what appears might be the end of Esfandiari’s day.
The field has now been reduced to nine players, and a redraw is underway for the unofficial final table of nine.
