Arunas Sapitavicius limps UTG+1, Art Peacock raises from middle position to 5,000, and Scott Ball calls from the hijack. Sapitavicius also calls.

The flop comes Heart 9Diamond 5Diamond 2, Sapitavicius checks, and Peacock bets 11,000. Ball calls, and Sapitavicius check-raises to 30,000. Peacock and Ball both call.

The turn card is the Heart 3, Sapitavicius checks, and Peacock bets 55,000. Ball calls, and Sapitavicius check-raises all in for 147,000. Peacock thinks for a while before he folds, and Ball calls, saying something like, “I probably have 17 outs.”

Sapitavicius shows Diamond 8Diamond 7 for an eight-high diamond flush draw with a gutshot straight draw, and Ball turns over Heart 7Heart 6 for a seven-high heart flush draw with a double-gutshot straight draw.

Peacock claims to have folded two red queens, and Sapitavicius leads at the moment with eight high.

The river card pairs the board with the Club 5, and both players miss all of their draws. Amazingly, Sapitavicius wins the massive pot with eight high to catapult into the chip lead with 458,000.
