At 12 p.m. local time, poker enthusiasts from near and far are expected to make their way to Casino Barcelona and take a shot at the guaranteed prize pool of €3,000,000 that is featured in the flagship event of the festival, the WPT Barcelona Season 2018-2019 €3,300 Main Event.
Two live starting days already took place with 123 and 350 entries respectively, and further players already secured a stack for Day 2 in the two online Day 1s at partypoker. The third and final starting day is boosted by two additional live satellites in the previous evening that provided more than 20 Main Event tickets each, and a big field is expected for Day 1c that kicks off at lunch time.

Eight levels are scheduled for the day with breaks every two levels and a 60-minute dinner break after the sixth level of the day, and Day 1c is expected to wrap up at approximately 10.30 p.m. local time. All participants receive 30,000 in chips and the late registration and single re-entry period per day is available throughout the entire day and the first four levels of Day 2.

The WPT Barcelona Season 2018-2019 €3,300 Main Event also features the slow partypoker structure with small blind increases at the start, as well as the popular big blind ante format.
Chip leader thus far after all four live and online Day 1s is French poker pro Pierre Calamusa with 230,000, followed by Joni Jouhkimainen with 175,000. Jaime Soler Puig (163,400) topped the Day 1b counts in the previous night.
