Alexandr Lakhov opens to 90,000 in the cutoff and Tony Chang tanks for at least one minute before eventually raising to 290,000 from the small blind. Lakhov pulls his long legs out from underneath the table, stares at the ceiling and says, "Ok, let’s gamble."
Flop: [7c] [6c] [5d]
Chang bets 385,000 and Lakhov makes an incredibly nonchalant call.
Turn: [Kh]
Chang is staring at Lakhov to gain a read, Lakhov is just staring at the audience. Chang checks and Lakhov returns to the game to check instantly.
River: [Kd]
Chang checks and Lakhov pulls his full attention into the game. He pulls up his chair and his tongue flickers like a lizard. After a few seconds his hand goes into his stack and moves 995,000 across the line. Chang goes into the tank for so long we assume he is going to drown. Eventually, he resurfaces and predictably folds.
Lakhov ~ 3.7 million
Chang ~ 3.3 million
