Boeree Can't Get Going

Liv Boeree opens to 1,300 in the cutoff and Jose Carlos Garcia flats on the button. The dealer turns and burns a flop of [Jd] [Tc] [5h] and Garcia calls a 1,800 Boeree bet. Fourth street sees the [4h] leap out of the pack and Boeree tries again with a 2,200 bet, but it’s met with the same response. The final card is the [Qs] and Boeree taps the felt with a slender finger. Garcia puts bet of 5,200 out there and Boeree folds.
