The incredible ascent of James Davis is continuing, as he’s now gone from one ante to one million chips.

John Monnette and Maxx Coleman each call Davis’ bring-in leading the trio to see fourth street, which Coleman bets, but he gets calls from Davis and Monnette.

On fifth street the trio checks, but on sixth now with the betting lead, Davis bets, leaving himself less than one big bet behind.

Monnette folds, but after some thought, Coleman raises to put Davis in. Davis calls, and he’ll need help on the river from any non-pairing card ten or lower to catch up to Coleman’s ten so long as Coleman doesn’t improve.

Coleman fails to improve on seventh, but Davis pulls a four, prompting a call of “Boom!” from the once micro-stack, giving him a six low and a pot that brings him back over a million chips.
