Bouayad Angers Houssam

Hassan Bouayad has just made our WPT Champions Club member, Mohamed Ali Houssam, very angry indeed. Actually angry is too soft a word. The man has steam bellowing out of his cans.

Bouayad opens to 1,600 and Houssam defends the big blind. The first three cards are the [Tc] [Th] [7s] and both players elect to check their options.

Turn: [5h]

Houssam bets 2,000 and Bouayad casually squeezes two 1k chips between the tips of his fingers and they fly into the air.

River: [9c]

Houssam counts out a bet, it’s 3,000 and he moves it over the line. Bouayad makes an instantaneous 8,000 raise in a very arrogant way. Houssam is annoyed. He looks at Bouayad who just smiles at him. Houssam goes into his stack and re-raises to 18,000 and Bouayad just piles his entire stack over the line. The picture etched on Houssam’s face is priceless. The former WPT Marrakech champion is livid. Bouayad just sits there, tapping his feet, motioning to Houssam to move his chips over the line. Eventually Houssam folds and as Bouayad is collecting his chips he fires off a couple of imaginary shots of his finger gun in the general direction of Houssam.
