We were just called over to Table 13 where an epic hand had just went down. On a KTKflop it was John Abrosie who was all in for his tournament life and up against Ian Starr.
The cards were turned face up and the showdown had players jumping out of their seats.
Starr: AK
Abrosie: TT
The turn brought the A and the table exploded with excitement as Starr had made a bigger full house. Abrosie neede a miracle on the river, but he didn’t get it as Starr improved to quads with the K.
“There’s nothing you can do, man,” the players at the table consoled Abrosie.
Abrosie still has time to re-enter, as there are 20 minutes left on the clock in the final level of re-entries.
