Camille Mikhael Eliminated by Richard Wierzba, Who Finishes as Chipleader

Nov 2, 2019

All of the tables are bagging up their chip stacks except for one — Table 63. In their final hand of the night, the board shows Heart AHeart 10Diamond 2Diamond Q on the turn, and Camille Mikhael gets it all in with Diamond AHeart K for a pair of aces.

But Richard Wierzba turns over Spade ASpade 10 for two pair, aces and tens, and Mikhael needs a king or a queen on the river to stay alive.

The river card pairs the board with the Heart 2, and Wierzba wins the pot with his higher two pair to eliminate Mikhael in the last hand of the night.

Richard Wierzba  –  375,700  (150 bb)
Camille Mikhael  –  Eliminated

It’s a huge pot, and Wierzba leapfrogs into the chip lead to end Day 1B.
