Heating up at the right time is crucial when it comes to finding success in tournament poker. Here on Day 1B, Candace Collins is finding some heat here late in the session. After chipping down early, Collins has built her stack into one of the biggest stacks in the room, as players return from their final break of the night.
Collin’s biggest career score came in 2014 when she finished 14th in the $7,500 WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star event. The deep run would earn her over $39,000, along with a spot as a 2015 WPT “One’s to Watch.” Since the event Collins has notched another 13 scores, building her resume to over $100,000 in earnings. With just 3 levels of play remaining in the night, Collins is certainly a threat to make a serious run.
