Carl Des Granges vs. Mekhail Mekhail

After a flop of Club 10Club 8Spade 4, Carl Des Granges checks the big blind, and Kalpesh Raichura (pictured) bets 17,000 under the gun. Mekhail Mekhail raises from the hijack to 40,000, Granges folds, and Raichura calls.

The turn card is the Heart A, and Raichura bets out 60,000. Mekhail quickly calls.

The river card is the Club Q, and Raichura moves all in. Mekhail is visibly frustrated, and after a few moments, places his cards face up — Spade 8Heart 8 for a set of eights. The dealer reaches for his cards, asking if he is folding, and he says no. The dealer informs him that he isn’t allowed to do that, and calls for a floorperson.

As the floorperson arrives and the dealer begins explaining the situation, Mekhail mucks his cards to indicate a fold. Raichura takes the pot.
