Carpenter Chips Away at Mayr’s Stack

On a flop that reads [Qc][Td][3h] Tom Carpenter checks from the small blind seat, Andre Mayr fires a 2,000 bet from the big blind seat and this forces Andras Kovacs to fold. The action is back on Carpenter and he puts in a 5,000 chips and announces his intention to raise to 4,800. Mayr seems undeterred about this raise and quickly puts in the calling chips.
