Cecilia Pescaglini was a sensation in the Season X WPT Malta event where she finished runner-up to the eventual winner Matt Giannetti. But if Pescaglini is to repeat that feat, she is going to have to dig deep in her pockets to find another buy-in.
It was an [8s] [6h] [4d] flop when all of the money went in. Pescaglini in the lead, holding [Kc] [8c], and her opponent Alfonso Amendola was behind with [As] [Kh]. But it didn’t stay the best hand for very long after the [Jh] on the turn, and the [Ah] on the river eliminated Pescaglini, and moved Alfonso Amendola into the top of the chip counts with 98,000.
