WPT Commentator Vince Van Patten has written and produced a new movie titled 7 Days to Vegas, starring none other than Vince himself.
Before he became one of the most recognizable commentators in poker, Vince was an actor who appeared in a variety of films, including the cult classic Rock ‘n’ Roll High School, and he was also a professional tennis player who at one point defeated John McEnroe on his way to a tennis championship.
Vince has used his experience in all these different worlds to create a movie that incorporates a little bit of everything, as a poker player finds himself stuck in a prop bet where he must walk from L.A. to Vegas in just seven days. (You can check out the trailer above.)
7 Days to Vegas was screened at the 22nd Annual California Independent Film Festival, where it won their award for Best Comedy. The film premiered to rave reviews from film critic Richard Roeper and others, and is now available for purchase on iTunes and Amazon.
