Chino Rheem Has Been Eliminated

We have lost the crowd favourite Chino Rheem which leaves just two WPT Champions Club members in the tournaments in the shape of Marvin Rettenmaier and Sam El Sayed. Rheem plays his poker on the edge of things and it has proven to be his downfall has he shipped most of his stack to Artur Voskanyan before finally relinquishing the rest to Gilboa Yossi. Here are the hands.

Hand 1

On a board of [5c] [3s] [2h] [4d] [9h] in a hand against Artur Voskanyan, Rheem moved all-in, and after tanking for a very long time Voskanyan made the call with [Ah] [Jd] for the wheel. Rheem mucked his hand and had just 170,000 left.

Hand 2

Rheem then finds himself on a flop of [Th] [8c] [2c] in a hand with Gilboa Yossi and raises all-in. Yossi calls and Rheem is in dire straits. Yossi is holding [Ac] [Tc] for top pair and the nut flush draw and Rheem is drawing very slim indeed with [5c] [4c]. The [3h] gave Rheem some hope but the [Qh] was enough to end the WPT dreams of Rheem.

Artur Voskanyan ~ 940,000
Gilboa Yossi ~ 570,000
