While there were three starting flights for this event, both of the chipleaders came from Day 1C, and they are both well ahead of the rest of the pack.
Fabrice Touil had a chipleading stack before the last break of the day, and took an extended break and still came back to a chipleading stack. Touil finished with 272,400 (worth 227 big blinds).
Right behind Touil in the chip counts is Ryan Goindoo, who enters Day 2 with 269,000 (224 big blinds).
Liz Lieu didn’t finish among the chipleaders, but she did finish with an above average stack of 98,300 (81 big blinds).
Lieu is already scheduled to play in the televised table for the WPT Foundation Ladies Night, a charity event that takes place the day after the WPT Legends of Poker televised final table. Lieu is hoping to play in both.
