8262 Chris Trapani Doubles Thru Galen Hall

Galen Hall raises from the cutoff to 19,000, Kevin MacPhee calls from the button, and Chris Trapani moves all in from the big blind for 188,000. Hall asks for a count, and then asks MacPhee how many chips he has behind (500,000+). Hall moves all in over the top, and MacPhee folds.

Trapani has [AcKc], but he is in trouble against Hall’s [KdKs]. The board comes [8c5s3dAh8h], and Trapani’s friends and family on the rail cheer as he pairs his ace on the turn to win the pot and double up.

Once the cheering settles down, MacPhee tells Trapani, “I folded an ace. I had ace-nine suited.” So Trapani effectively caught a two-outer to stay alive.

Chris Trapani – 410,000
Galen Hall – 280,000
