It was only a matter of time before somebody called another jam from Clement Beauvois. In the end it was Giacomo Fundaro, who once again found the call, and this time Beauvois didn’t escape.
Fundaro raises on the button, Beauvois moves all-in from the big blind for 320,000 and Fundaro calls.
Showdown
Fundaro: [7d] [7c]
Beauvois: [Qc] [Ts]
The dealer burns and turns the [Qd] and Beauvois finds temporary hope. We use the word temporary, because just one second later the [7s] is joined by the [5s] to hand Fundaro a set. The turn confirms the demise of Beauvois – [Kc] – and the [Td] on the river is negligible. Beauvois is out and Fundaro increase his chip lead with four-players remaining.
Fundaro – 1,685,000
Frederic Brunet – 1,185,000
Davidi Kitai – 880,000
Jeremy Nock – 640,000
