ClubWPT.com Qualifier Mark Nienow Eliminated

Three players including ClubWPT.com qualifier Mark Nienow was one of three players that limped in and Lars Kamphues in the small blind raised to 800. All opponents including Nienow in the cutoff and Marius Pertea on the button called.

After the flop of , Nienow bet 1,600 and picked up two callers, only Pertea folded. There would be no betting action on the turn and river and Kamphues won the pot with , Nienow was left with around 22,000 after the hand.

Only a few minutes later Nienow was spotted while leaving his table and all chips had vanished. “I had an ace-high flush and he had a boat. He flopped a set with queens, turned a boat and I rivered the flush,” Nienow said after all was done and dusted. The player in question that received all of his remaining chips was Thomas Pettersson, who took over the chip lead as a result.
