ClubWPT Qualifier George Manikas Holding His Own

George Manikas (pictured) is the latest player to win his entry into a Main Tour WPT event by playing on ClubWPT.com. George is in today’s field, and holding his own with a stack of about 35,000 in chips.

There was a ClubWPT Welcome Dinner in George’s honor last night at the Wolfgang Puck American Grille here at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa (pictured below). George got to dine with WPT commentator Vince Van Patten, reigning WPT Player of the Year Anthony Zinno, Royal Flush Girl Jennifer Rivera, and WPT Video Hostess Melissa Castello. Long-time ClubWPT member Andy Machover was also in attendance. Both ClubWPT players got to hear some great stories from Van Patten and pick up a few poker tips from Zinno.

As part of the ClubWPT package he won, George receives a full VIP experience. In addition to the dinner, George will be able to watch the televised final table from the stage itself, sitting at the Royal Flush Girl Social Bar with the Royal Flush Girls.
