ClubWPT Qualifier: Jeff Meyers

ClubWPT qualifier Jeff Meyers (right) was interviewed by WPT Anchor Lynn Gilmartin in front of the Monster Bar during the first break.

Meyers earned his entry into this $10,000 buy-in WPT event by winning a megasatellite on ClubWPT.com. A tax accountant from Texas, Meyers finds himself taking vacation time during the busiest time for his profession, about a month before the IRS’s April 15th tax deadline.

Meyers said that he has worked extra hard leading up to this event to get ahead of his work, and expects to work extra hard when he returns. But while he is here, he is focused 100% on poker; he has instructed his office to call him only if it’s an actual emergency.
