Vladimir "Beyne" Geshkenbein has just doubled up his fellow PKR Team Pro Jake Cody. Geshkenbein raises to 1,000 in the hijack seat and Cody three-bets to 2,500 in the cut-off. The action folds around to Geshkenbein who asks for a count. Cody explains that he has around 17,000 behind and with that news Geshkenbein moves a stack of 5k chips across the line to put Cody all-in. The Rochdale Rocket makes the call and we have a PKR Team Pro showdown with Cody at risk of elimination.
Cody: [Ac] [Tc]
Geshkenbein: [Qh] [8c]
The flop moves Geshkenbein into the lead with a pair of eights [Jc] [8s] [7s] but the [Ah] puts Cody back into a commanding position. The river is the [7c] and after the dealer makes the count it is Geshkenbein who has to ship 17,675 into the welcoming arms of Cody.
Cody ~ 33,400
Geshkenbein ~ 34,000
