Coming This Summer: WPT500 at ARIA

It was a huge success last summer, so it’s coming back in 2015 — partypoker presents: WPT500 at ARIA Resort & Casino.

With its affordable $565 buy-in, last summer’s WPT500 attracted 3,599 entries, creating a prizepool of 1,799,500, exceeding the $1 million guarantee. The winner was Sean Yu (pictured), who took home $260,000 and the WPT500 trophy.

This summer, the WPT500 is increasing the stakes by doubling the guaranteed prizepool to $2 million, and spreading out the starting days to make it even easier for players to enter.

There will be 10 starting flights spread out from the end of May until early July, with all the survivors combining to a single field on Sunday, July 5th to play down to the final table, which will be played the next day on Monday, July 6th.

Day 1B:  Monday, June 1st, 12:00 noon
Day 1C:  Tuesday, June 2nd, 12:00 noon

Day 1D:  Saturday, June 6th, 12:00 noon
Day 1E:  Sunday, June 7th, 12:00 noon
Day 1F:  Monday, June 8th, 12:00 noon

Day 1G:  Thursday, July 2nd, 12:00 noon
Day 1H:  Friday, July 3rd, 12:00 noon
Day 1I:  Saturday, July 4th, 12:00 noon
Day 1J:  Sunday, July 5th, 8:00 am  (TURBO)
