Xu Donghui completes the small blind and Joseph Tamalayan (pictured) then makes it 1,700 in the big blind. Donghui obliges, bringing down a flop where he taps the table.

Tamalayan continues with a bet of 4,500 and is quickly met with a check-shove by Donghui for 34,400. Tamalayan flips over as he makes the call and is well ahead of the of Donghui.

The dealer sends the runout onto the felt and Tamalayan scoops in the pot with his kings. Donghui quickly made his way to the registration desk for another shot at making Day 2.
