Craig Smith Doubles Through Ty Reiman

Mar 22, 2010

Mike Miller raises under the gun to 13,000 and Ty Reiman moves all-in from middle position for 100,000.  Action folds to Craig Smith on the button and he announces he is all-in as well for his last 70,000.

Miller thinks about it before folding A-J face up and Reiman and Smith turn up their hands.  Smith shows [AdAs], while Reiman holds K-Q.  The [Jc10d3h] flop gives Reiman a straight draw, but the turn and river come [5c] then [7h] to double Smith up.

Reiman believes he is out and picks up his bag and starts to head for the door.  He is almost ten feet from the table before the players and the floor staff call him back and let him know he is still in the event.

Though he is still in, Reiman doesn’t appear to have high hopes about his chances.  Even after returning to his seat, he keeps his backpack on as if his exit from the event is imminent.

Craig Smith – 150,000
Ty Reiman – 30,000
